God’s Appointed Times

God is very precise in everything He does. When he created the heavens and earth,  He also created lights in the sky to “…serve as signs to mark seasons, and days and years,…” (Genesis 1:14). He also dictated to Moses in Leviticus 23 the appointed feasts, which are still followed today by many.

The Bible is filled with prophetic appointed times as well. The prophet Daniel and Apostle John for example were given very specific times for events that will occur. It’s no coincidence that prophetic events that have occurred also followed His appointed times.

In 1967, which many believe to be a Jubilee Year as prescribed in Leviticus 25, Israel for the first time in 2000 years claims back the Temple Mount (Mt. Zion) in Jerusalem. Interestingly in only 6 days of war with the 7th day for “…rest, a day of sacred assembly.” (Leviticus 23:3). This liberation also took place just two days before the Feast of Weeks, or Pentecost (June 13th – 15th 1967).

This year (2017 Gregorian, 5777 Hebrew) is also believed by many (including myself) to be a Jubilee year. It also marks the 50th (Jubilee) anniversary of Israel’s possession of their given land. Feast of Weeks 2017 will be May 30th – June 1st, just 3 days before the anniversary of the 6 day war (also of note, the Gregorian calendar lines up June 2017 day dates exactly with 1967). There’s even more…

In a previous post I mentioned the current House Bill to move the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Av-iv to Jerusalem (S.11 – “To recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, to relocate to Jerusalem the United States Embassy in Israel, and for other purposes’). While there has not been much in the media about this as of late, there is a reason that some may not know about. On December 1, 2016 former President Obama signed the ‘Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995’ which has been signed by each president going back to it’s origin in an effort to postpone relocating the US Embassy every 6 months. This last waiver will expire on May 31, right during this year’s Feast of Weeks and just prior to the anniversary of reunification of Jerusalem in Israel. Let’s remember one of God’s decrees for the year of Jubilee: “…each one of you is to return to his family property and each to his own clan.” (Leviticus 25:10).

This is a major convergence of events folks so keep an eye. Appointed times, anniversaries, current end time events that are happening all around us as we approach the return of our Lord Christ Jesus.

As written in Matthew 25 be ready when the bridegroom arrives like the wise ones who kept extra oil for their lamps. Stay in the Word, stay close to Jesus through the Holy Spirit, spread the good news of The Gospel to everyone you can and “…keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” (Matthew 25:13).

Borders of Nations

There has been plenty of news and public opinions regarding the controversial border between the US and Mexico, and after hearing about the dangers and threats to those assigned to protect it, I felt compelled to bring some biblical truth to the subject.

First of all, God himself makes the world’s nations and borders as written in the book of Acts: “From one man he made every nations of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.” (Acts 17:26). The USA is not excluded, and is even professed by the founders to be “One Nation Under God”.

Should we have heavy hearts as Christians for those in need? The homeless and abused? Yes, of course we should as written in both the Old and New Testaments. But our appointed leaders are also obligated to protect their nations from evil and immoral ways. The human trafficking, drugs and crime that is infiltrating the USA via the Mexican border is not only immoral but unlawful. “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.” (Romans 13:1).

Our underfunded and undermanned border patrol agents have had serious injury and attempts at their lives while fulfilling their duties to protect this nation. The evil ones have even assumed land on the US side of the border in some areas, taking land as their own. Does this mean we condemn the leaders of Mexico? Certainly not. They are also appointed by God to their nation and will be accountable for their actions by only Him.

We need better authority and  protection for our nation, even if constructing a wall is part of that action. Our current leadership is trying to do just that. It will not be easy, as when Nehemiah was rebuilding the walls of Judea; “…Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other, and each of the builders wore his sword at his side as he worked…”  (Nehemiah 4:17).

We need to pray for our leaders as written in 1 Timothy: “…for kings and all those in authority , that we may live peaceful and  quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” (1 Timothy 2:2).

End Times Update: Psalm 83 War

In Psalm 83 we read about enemies astir against The Almighty’s chosen. An alliance of specifically mentioned nations plotting to destroy Israel as a nation. In verse 18 The Psalmist sings out to The Lord to let their enemies know “…that you, whose name is the Lord – that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”

Israel’s sovereignty as a nation, that includes Jerusalem and Mount Zion, has been contested by both Arab and even non Arab nations for years. President Elect Trump’s plan to not only move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem but to also recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is a promise he plans to keep. Bill ‘S.11 – To recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, to relocate to Jerusalem the United States Embassy in Israel, and for other purposes’ is already in the Senate for approval.

Should this bill get passed, and I’m confident it will, this will certainly concern (to say the least) the Palestinians as well as surrounding Arab nations. If you cross reference the nations mentioned in Psalm 83 they would equate to today’s Palestinians, Jordanians, Egyptians, Lebanese (Hezbollah) and Hamas and more. As does all bible prophecy, this today rings true as these are the nations most likely to plan immediate hostile actions actions Israel.

In an earlier post I mentioned the Gog and Magog battle from Ezekiel 38 (the nations mentioned in Ezekiel 38 are not the same as Psalm 83) that will take place just before or during the time of the end. For that prophecy to be fulfilled, Israel must be “…a land of unwalled villages” and “a peaceful and unsuspecting people.” (Ezekiel 38:10). The ‘Psalm 83 war’ would result in just that. A victory for Israel as a sovereign nation over their promised land once again, just like the City of David.

Those who have an ear let them hear. Stay close to The Father through Christ Jesus. Pray often, He will ensure we as brothers and sisters in Christ will be victorious with Him. And we, as part of His body still in this church age, still have much to do in the great commission. Let’s spread the great news to all!

“I’m with Him”

I’ve noticed that there are so many today that will cover their ears and eyes and profess “I’m with her” regardless of what knowledge swirls through the air. Even to the point of becoming angry, scared, and defiant. If only this display of dedication could be given to Jesus instead.

Many will debate, argue and continue to ‘disprove’ the Bible and refuse to believe in Jesus as the Son of our creator, leaving themselves in a place of always searching, but not finding.
If we can get the same loyalty to God through His son Christ Jesus, endless searches WILL end and peace can be had.

Will there will still be dangerous paths available to follow and wrong turns to make upon satan’s principalities? Yes, but knowing that you have the only truthful ‘compass’ always available through the Holy Spirit gives you assurance the you will always be on the right path to where He wants us, and where we really want to be.

Respect of Authority

Romans 13 tells us that to “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.”

The word ‘progressive’ is being used a lot these days regarding beliefs, attitudes and governing bodies. Here are two definitions:

1. happening or developing gradually or in stages; proceeding step by step.
“a progressive decline in popularity”
2. (of a group, person, or idea) favoring or implementing social reform or new, liberal ideas.
“a relatively progressive governor”
I believe the latter is what we are hearing from many of our lost brothers and sisters.  I believe Reverend Franklin Graham put it well: “…the word Progressive is just a way to try to make secular and godlessness sound better and more up-to-date.”
Let’s pray that all who are lost will come to Christ Jesus, and do our part as His church to get them there.

Fire and Brimstone

The radical Anti-Christ group ISIS is now burning sulfur stock (brimstone) in Mosul (Nineveh) in an effort to protect their stronghold. As Nahum prophesied that Nineveh would fall from the grip of idolaters and Jonah escape the bars of hell to convince Nineveh to repent (successfully).

God is the one in control, and who will bring the fire and brimstone to evil. Until the return of Jesus we believers as part of his church will “not be overcome” by the gates of hell (Matthew 16:18)

Wars and Rumors of Wars

If anyone is wondering where the world is today according to biblical prophecy they need to look no further than Matthew 24. In verse six Jesus tells us that as one of the many signs of the end of the age we “will hear of wars and rumors of wars.”
For those who have been more focused on the US news and less on world news these wars and especially rumors of war are happening now.
The current diplomatic tensions between the US and Russia are at an all time high, and the situation in Syria complicates this even more. The initial ‘reason’ for these two nations to even be militarily involved in that country was to ‘root out ISIS.’ But with completely opposite stands on Syria’s current regime who was that to be possible?
Ass Turkey and Iran to this mix and it gets even more convoluted.
Turkey has turned from the US as a trusted ally since the coup and has since befriended Russia (see Gog and Magog Ezekiel 38), a nation who’s warplane they shot out of the sky less than a year ago! Russia is now ‘steaming’ toward a military presence in the Middle East that it has not had for a long time… if ever.
On top of all this you have both Iran and Israel volleying to see who is on each of their eternal opposing sides, China’s booming military presence in international waters, Saudi Arabia and Yemen battling and even our own war ships getting caught up in that and the North and South Korea factor.

In spite of all of this, the good news is that Jesus also states in verse 6 that we are to “see to it that we are not alarmed. Such things must happen…”. The Word is the truth, by dedicating our lives to Jesus Christ as our savior and following the Word we are guaranteed eternal life. That is what really matters.

Desecrating the Temple of God

It seems the Wisconsin based group ‘Freedom From Religion Foundation’ has decided that Jesus is no longer welcome at a Tipton Missouri school. Not only is He ‘banned’ and prayers, but they even pulled down a giant portrait of our Lord that was displayed in the grade school’s library.

The Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 3 that we ourselves are God’s temple, and “If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.” (v17).

As written in Romans 14:11, eventually “…every knee will bow before Me; every tongue will confess to God.”

Imam Training in Morocco

In an effort to curb Islamic terror, Morocco has instituted an Imam training program geared to teach and promote ‘moderate’ Islam or ‘peaceful’ doctrine.

While these efforts may seem intended to bring peace, efforts based upon altered ideologies of a satanic rooted religion will be futile. The real solution is the truth, and the truth is found in The Gospel, through Jesus Christ.

The Quran instructs forced conversion of non-believers by fighting until they are either dead, converted to Islam, or in a permanent state of subjugation under Muslim domination. Anyone who proclaims to be a peaceful Muslim is ignoring their ‘playbook’, thus are they truly Islamic?

As believers in Jesus Christ, we have the Gospel of the Holy Bible to guide us in our journey to be with Him, as well as instructions of how to spread His glory to all nations peacefully through witnessing, education, and sharing the Word. Hence becoming a believer in Jesus is being ‘saved’. If you are not following the Gospel, you are not following Christ Jesus. And this is the simple truth…

Trumpet Call

Those of us who are already Saints of Christ must understand that we are absolutely in the end times, as prophetically written in The Bible. The pre-tribulation signs are all here, as written in the book of Matthew; “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,…” (24:10).

Now this is not a prophetic post of ‘doom and gloom’, this is an announcement to all of the truth, and the way to the place where we belong and desire as written in the book of Revelation; “There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (21:4). This can only come by Jesus Christ himself.

Governments, elections, military control or any other of man’s creations or establishments will not bring peace and paradise to this world. This does not mean that God is not appointing leadership today for a purpose, and He does appoint leaders; “…for there is no authority except that which God has established.” (Romans 13:1). But their purpose is to help toward the efforts of saving everyone, to spread the news of The Gospel that there is a way. A way to peace and paradise. Therefore I encourage you to be involved and help engage in God’s plan.

It is the duty of the believer to spread this word. “…but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached to the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:13-14).

So rejoice, be faithful and jubilant for what is to come. But most importantly share this knowledge. Read The Bible and bring others to Jesus so they too can be saved and live in peace.
